GRRRRRRRR>.....I mailed a Mother's day package (from a client to her sister) it was returned to me today because I had 2 T's in Matthews Road in stead of 1 T.........I filed an official complaint on-line, called the National Postal service and filed a complaint with them that will be submitted to the supervisor of the Pike Road PO. AND called the Pike Rd. PO myself today only to be talked to rudely when I asked to speak to the supervisor but was able to get her name (Linda Smith) before he hung the phone up in my face! ~ I will not stop until some body's head rolls. It is impossible for any carrier to be as incompetent as not to deliver the package based on this factor! My package was stamped with a label (pointing finger) NO MAIL RECEPTACLE and returned to my home. I demand a prompt response and the name of the carrier with the IQ of a goldfish.
Terrible hours. Doesn't open until after I have to be at work, takes 1 1/2 hr lunch and closes before I get off work. Have to take time off work to pick up a package. Often receive other people's mail who live nowhere near my address. There is no telling what mail of ours is mis-delivered & we never receive. Notices are not left when delivery has been attempted. Have had packages LOST then finally found in that tiny post office. Don't know if they are incompetent or just don't care, either way they are doing a terrible job. I never mail anything from Pike Road post office for fear that it will never arrive at its destination.
Beware of the hours. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
205pm, 9/19/2017, the black counter guy was smug, rude, and acted like he could not give a damn. Typical of the majority of postal workers in the city of Montgomery! Take the extra time and go to Taylor road. Avoid this spot, and the SORRY, LAZY workers who do little or nothing at this location!
A small post office in a small town, with all the benefits that brings. No lines, and helpful, friendly staff are the biggest two.
